Kuntala Ray to perform November 9th, 2007

Kuntala Ray will perform at the Fletcher Feed and Seed this Friday at 7:30PM. The concert will be a suggested donation of $5 to $10.

Come see this last performance before she departs for her home in India.

For those who saw her perform at UNCA in October with her teacher Pandit Pal, you will get a chance to hear her again and for those who missed it, here's your chance to catch an amazingly rare treat. The concert will be held in the historical "Feed and Seed" building in Fletcher which has been an up and coming Bluegrass venue since it's recent restoration.

Kuntala Ray is a Hansa Veena, Indian Classical Slide Guitar, player and student of one of Pandit Ravi Shankar's closest and long time students, Pandit Barun Kumar Pal.
